Praise God for His Humility!
“And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death-even death on a cross!” Philippians 2:8
“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9
God, we praise You for Your humility. You left heaven and became obedient to death so that we might know You. What amazing grace!
Pray for Hearts of Humility
“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.” Proverbs 11:2
“He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way.” Psalm 25:9
May students and staff be characterized by wisdom and not disgrace as they walk in humility not in pride.
Pray for Humble Hearts that Value Others
“All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because ‘God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.’” I Peter 5:5
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.” Philippians 2:3
God, we pray that each person in our school community will clothe themselves with humility, valuing others above themselves. May they look for ways to serve and encourage others. Replace selfishness with care and compassion for others. This heart attitude can only come from You.
