Praise God, who Completes what He Begins

“By the seventh day God completed His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which he had done.”                                                                                                                                        Genesis 2:2

“I glorified You on the earth, having accomplished the work which You have given Me to do.”                 John 17:4

God, we give You praise for completing everything You purposed to do, from creation to dying on the cross for our sins.

Pray for Hearts to be Made Complete

“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”                                                                                                                                                                     Philippians 1:6

“…in Him you have been made complete…”                                                                                                  Colossians 2:10

Jesus, thanks for Your promise to complete each person who enters into a relationship with You. May students and staff enter into this relationship and gain the assurance that they do not need to strive to gain Your favor. May they rest in Your finished work on their behalf.

Pray for Hearts to Complete their Tasks

“Thus, Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s palace, and successfully completed all that he had planned on doing in the house of the Lord and in his palace.”                                                             2 Chronicles 7:11

“But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus.”                                                                                                                 Acts 20:24

Just as Solomon and Paul finished the work You gave them, may the students and staff of our city successfully complete their work and responsibilities for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Please pray for the students and staff of Archbold Area Schools and their Superintendent, Mr. Aaron Rex.

“God shapes the world by prayer. Prayers are deathless. They outlive the lives of those who utter them.”                                                                                            -E.M. Bounds, 20th century American author who wrote 9 books on prayer
