Praise God, Our Protector!

“May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.”     Psalm 20:1

“But the Lord is faithful and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.” II Thessalonians 3:3

God, we give You praise for Your faithfulness and protection. You are our creator and our protector.

Pray for Hearts to Extend Protection to Others

May our school community be an emotional safe zone as students and staff extend protection to each other by speaking the truth in love. “…may Your love and Your truth always protect me” (Psalm 40:11). God, we trust that Your protection will cover the minds and hearts of our students.

Pray for Schools to be Places of Safety

“Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You.” Psalm 5:1

“Keep me safe, Lord, from the hands of the wicked; protect me from the violent, who devise ways to trip my feet.”  Psalm 140:4

Lord, though we do not understand Your thoughts and ways-what You allow and what Your hand stays, we acknowledge our trust in You. May our school community be a place protected from ill intent, where students are free to learn, create, grow and trust in You.

Please pray for the students and staff of Elmwood Local Schools and their Superintendent, Mr. Tony Borton.

“Revival fires flame where hearts are praying.” Dick Eastman, national prayer leader.
