Praise God, Who is Pure!

“Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.”  Proverbs 30:5

“Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; You cannot tolerate wrong.”  Habakkuk 1:13

Lord, You are perfect and pure. Every word You speak is pure. We lift our hearts to You today as the One who is blameless and undefiled.

 

Pray for Hearts of Purity

“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”  Psalm 51:10

“Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things.”  Philippians 4:8

God, in the midst of evil and temptations that would seek to destroy the souls of our children, may they come to You for cleansing and renewal of their own hearts and minds. Lead them out of guilt and shame into the freedom that comes from a pure heart.

 

Pray for Hearts Protected from those with Impure Motives

“They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity.”  Ephesians 4:19

“To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted.”  Titus 1:15

Lord, we pray that You would protect our students from those who are callous, greedy, corrupt or impure. Place a hedge of protection around our school and around each student. If a child needs to be removed from a dangerous situation, we trust You to provide refuge, love and healing.
