Praise Our God of Life
Jesus said, ‘I am the resurrection and the life.’ John 11:25
Jesus, we praise you, the resurrection and the life. You created life and have defeated death!
Pray for Hearts to Choose Life
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14:27
Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. Deuteronomy 30:20
God, during this time when much of our culture is sending messages of darkness, we give you thanks for giving us everything we need for life and godliness. May our students and staff choose to focus on life and not death, particularly regarding ____________. We pray against anything that would instill fear in their hearts. Give them the desire to receive your love, listen to your voice and hold fast to you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
