Praise God, who Serves
“…he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!” Philippians 2:7-8
God, we praise You because You loved us so much that You came and taught us how to love by serving us, even to the point of laying Your life down so that we can live with You.
Pray for the Hearts of Those Who Serve Students
“…if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach;” Romans 12:7
We pray for those teachers and staff who serve students each day. God, please strengthen them in all that they do and bring people alongside of them to pour into and serve them as they teach, _______________, and provide security.
Pray for Hearts to Serve
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” Philippians 2:3-4
We ask You to raise up individuals, staff and students alike, who will have eyes to see opportunities to serve one another. Allow them to be creative as they demonstrate Your love, serving with kindness and compassion.
“If we pray, we will believe; If we believe, we will love; If we love, we will serve.” Mother Teresa, served the poorest of the poor in Calcutta, India.
